So when I came across a recipe (with a beautiful photograph) for a, I thought it would be a perfect treat for the girls to try to make. I adapted the recipe slightly from the original as we like a lovely crumbly base to cheescakes in our home.
If you have very young children you will need to supervise them when it comes to melting the butter and of course cutting up the strawberries.
The girls really enjoyed making the strawberry cheescake – one thing we might try next time is just putting the cheesecake in the fridge to set rather than the freezer.
